Garden of Eating Soon to be Collector’s Item

Books,New Developments

The Garden of Eating: A Produce-Dominated Diet & Cookbook will receive a much needed make-over in the new year.  We have a limited number of copies of the current printing left. When they’re gone, they’re gone. We won’t be reprinting. Instead, we’ll redesign the book, cutting almost 100 pages of the nutrition information from the first half of the book. We’ll add a short intro containing the most valuable nutrition information readers need to know. A new, streamlined section on shopping, stocking and organizing the kitchen and pantry, and planning and preparing meals with greater ease will follow.

6a00e552ad01da8834017d3c95935b970c-320wiThe book will contain a revised and much simpler sample collection of weekly menus along with more than 200 to 225 delicious and healthy recipes, including most of the originals we (and maybe you) have come to love, plus some great new inventions! The book will sport a new title or subtitle, new index, and new cover. Recipes will still be gluten-free, dairy-free (except for optional butter or ghee in some recipes), grain-free (with the option of oats in a couple of recipes), and with a focus on produce and high quality protein.

A special deal for you
In the meantime, I’m offering you the chance to get in on a special deal. To move out the last of our current stock, we’re cutting the price for The Garden of Eating from $39.95 to $34.95, when you buy two or more copies!!  That’s a savings of $5.00 per book!

This book is great for gifts (the holidays are coming!) or for starting you and your family on the path to a healthier, produce-dominated diet and lifestyle. Those of you who have the current edition, know how wonderful and helpful the information contained in this book is. So, please purchase some copies for your friends and family before they are all gone and help spread the word about the book!

At this time I don’t have plans to add fermented foods. I will be making the book smaller rather than larger; however, I can recommend a book called Practical Paleo by Diane San Filippo. She has some fermented recipes in her book. I also follow the Spunky Coconut Blog and the woman who runs that has recipes for coconut yogurt and other fermented things.
